About Me
Hi, I’m Jack, an illustrator and graphic designer based near London, who has recently graduated with a first class Bachelor of Arts degree in Illustration from University for the Creative Arts in Farnham. I create artwork inspired by and created purposely for music and music promotion.
My practice explores the fusing of image and text, and how practicality and function can co exist with artistry and aesthetics. I create a range of works, from more type focused pieces including logo design, branding and business cards, to more image focused pieces like posters and decorative illustration. I specialise in the stylisation of the Y2K era, bold and vibrant maximalism fused with pop culture. However, I am a versatile artist able to apply myself to a range of different stylisations and existing brand images.
I am building a career within the music industry as a music promoter, creating artwork for bands, musicians, labels and independent artists. I am particularly interested in album artwork, gig posters, merchandise and physical media and packaging. I want to work alongside these artists closely to create unique and strong visuals for their work.
When I’m not working on my design work, you can often find me at concert gigs, discovering new music, or producing my own music, a side passion I have which I am thoroughly enjoying right now. I live and breathe music; it is an integral part of my life which has shaped my visual arts education and career.
If you’re looking to promote music, or looking for visual material to go alongside music, or just decorative illustration pieces, you can contact me via my email or Instagram linked across this site, I’d love to hear about your projects!
